House Principles
True luxury cannot be rushed, nor can it be mass-produced. For over fourteen years, the heart of Leah Da Glória has lived within our bustling physical workroom—a grand, meticulous sanctuary where heirloom-quality garments are engineered from the inside out.
We do not simply make dresses; we build transformations. Every piece within our collection begins with a rigorous focus on internal architecture—sculptural draping, technical pattern discipline, and an obsessive masterclass in signature corsetry designed to contour and elevate the female form. Led by an elite team of expert artisans, our atelier merges the emotional gravity of ceremonial dressing with unyielding construction. From the very first conceptual sketch to the final meticulous stitch, we create cinematic silhouettes that command presence, celebrate strength, and are hand-tailored to endure beautifully beyond the moment.
The Atelier
The Leah Da Glória atelier functions on the traditional principles of an international couture house. Here, garments are physically sculpted, engineered, and brought to life with meticulous precision.

how far in advance should I order my wedding gown?
Whether you're ordering a gown in store or online, we recommend you begin the journey 8-12 months from your wedding date. For rush orders (under 5 months), please email us directly at[email protected].
how are the gowns fitted?
If you are having a Bespoke/custom gown created with Leah, it will be made to your specific measurements and typically fitted in house with Leah and the team, ensuring a perfect fit on your wedding day.
If you are purchasing a gown in person at our Sydney flagship from either the Bohéme or Leah Da Gloria collection, it will be created in the standard size closest to your measurements. You have the option of your alterations to be completed with our in-house team, and will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
If you are purchasing a gown online, it will be created in a standard size closest to your measurements. We would aim for you to allow 4-6 weeks prior to your event date for alterations to be completed with a local tailor.
The most common alterations that might be needed include the hem, adjustment to the centre back, and strap tightening. If additional lace or embroidery is required for any complex alterations, that can be arranged with our team.

how do I work out my size?
Before purchasing, we recommend carefully taking your measurements. Should your measurements fall into differing size brackets we recommend sizing up. For example; if your low hip is measuring at a size 12 but your bust is a size 10, we recommend ordering a size 12 as it's far simpler to size down parts of the gown in alterations. It's very normal for every wedding gown to require alterations. Please check oursizing guidewhich includes our sizing chart, a video showing you how to measure yourself as well as more sizing information. We recommend measuring yourself with a soft measuring tape in centimetres.
how do i measure myself?
Please check our sizing guide which includes our sizing chart, a video showing you how to measure yourself as well as more sizing information. We recommend measuring yourself with a soft measuring tape in centimetres.
- For your bust: Wrap the measuring tape around your chest, lining the tape up so that it meets across your nipples or the centre of your breast.
- For your waist: Wrap the measuring tape around the smallest part of your waist, typically around the smallest part. The tape needs to be firm for this measurement with no slack.
- For your hips: Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips, typically at the top of the buttocks.
